Valve Controlled Water Meters
Ultrasonic technology allows for more accurate reading with a very low minimum flow of 16 L/hr compared to 50 L/hr with a mechanical meter. Therefore it is able to detect smaller water leaks that would have gone undetected by a mechanical meter. The new i-meter VCWM includes temperature indication and uses MBus communication technology to provide valuable consumption data, control, and a low water temperature alarm to prevent freezing.

i-meter® Ultrasonic Water Meter
The i-meter ultrasonic water meter (UVM) is the newest addition to Intellimeter's water meter product line. With ultrasonic technology, it provides more accurate readings and a very low minimum flow of 16 L/hr, that can prove useful when detecting small water leaks. This is an advantage to its mechanical meter counterpart.
